We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Safety Assurance Manager to work on one of Australia's largest public transport infrastructure projects based in Sydney. This role will support the Project Director in all aspects of the methods of safety & RAM assurance to be applied on the project. Decides of methods of safety & RAM assurance to be applied on the project, in accordance with the Alstom Transport Safety policy and the Project's relevant standards. Establish the Safety & RAM Assurance Plans. Manages the System Hazard Log and the closure of pending points. Carries out the Safety & RAM Analysis at system level. Coordinate the safety & RAM activities on the project. Establish the System Safety Case, integrating the Safety Cases of the participating Units, and ensure its completeness and acceptance. Convince customers / national safety authority / partners / consultants / safety assessors of the Alstom approach and methodology for safety management & safety demonstration. Complies with contracts requirements, deadlines and budget. Organises the Project Safety Reviews. Manage the project teams involved in safety. Produces relevant Project Workpackages and meeting commitments. Previous experience as a RAMS/Safety Manager within different industries (Aerospace, Defense, Space, Military, Nuclear, Chemical) including railways. Experience of international projects in particular of "UK like" contractual environment. Expertise of the various principle of safety application being ALARP, GAME and of SIL allocation and management Competencies in RAM activities and methodology.
